…with Product Innovation Award
Innovation should be—and is—its own reward but it’s nice when industry experts acknowledge its impact
Analysts from Frost & Sullivan recently announced the recipients of their 2024 New Product Innovation Awards—and Keysight was proud to be ranked among them.
We enjoy sharing the spotlight with industry-leading providers (and look forward to the award ceremony) but the best part for us goes beyond celebrating a prestigious achievement. The real ‘win’ comes from Frost & Sullivan’s recognition of the vital role visibility plays in moving the industry forward.
Not long ago, some considered a visibility layer a ‘nice to have,’ a tool that made life easier for big companies that already had large data center staffs and IT budgets. With the help of cybersecurity challenges, this short-sighted view gave way to more enlightened thinking.
Now, we see businesses of every size express a desire, even a mandate to know everything happening across their environment. And while the end-goal of spotting and stopping every threat before it wreaks havoc might never be possible, it clearly can’t happen without intelligent visibility.
400G Pushing the Limits of Monitoring Speeds and Scale
In announcing Keysight’s receipt of this year’s innovation award, Frost & Sullivan cited our advances in helping customers extend 100% visibility to higher capacity 400G networks. Sujan Sami, research director at the leading analyst firm writes:
“As a key player in the network visibility space, Keysight takes a commendable approach to product design and shows a clear commitment to high-performing, reliable, and innovative solutions. The addition of 400G-capable solutions to their portfolio paves the way for customers to maintain performance and security in the age of digital transformation and AI.”
Along with higher speed and capacity comes an urgent drive to scale. Companies continue to invest in monitoring and detection tools with some operations teams managing 50+ disparate security tools alone—a big job considering many don’t currently to talk to each other.
The only way cybersecurity works in what Frost calls “the age of digital transformation and AI” is by making efficient use of network data, threat intelligence, and monitoring tools themselves. Visibility gives IT and security leaders the core capability to do that and agility to do it cost-effectively. A Keysight visibility platform creates a scalable foundation for growth by reducing the strain on critical performance monitoring and security tools (firewalls, intrusion detection, APM/NPM solutions) and serving up clean, actionable data. These vital economies of scale begin with delivering exactly—and only—the data each tool needs to see. From there, visibility includes offloading decryption, removing duplicate and unwanted data, and adding metadata to make the job of analysis easier and less resource-intensive.

Innovation Keeps Looking Ahead
400G marks a powerful milestone for businesses competing in today’s digitally driven world and being honored by Frost & Sullvan marks a highly valued tribute for Keysight. But speed, scale, and agility all become relative as they attempt to keep pace with demand—so innovation can’t stop there.
Recep Ozdag, Keysight’s Vice President and General Manager, Network Visibility Solutions puts it best:
“Innovation means finding smarter ways to do things today and being ready with what customers need tomorrow. We highly value Frost & Sullivan’s recognition of our innovations in the 400G networking space, as these advances are vital for equipping customers to grow and protect their assets while migrating services to the cloud and integrating AI into business operations.”
So, with sincere thanks to Frost & Sullivan for celebrating innovation, we say, ‘onward and upward!’
